Creating a Prologue

Let's say you want to create a prologue. If you choose to start a story with a prologue, responsibility follows. Prologues start ideas, ideas make stories, and stories make ides for better stories. A prologue is a way to get your reader exited for the rest of the book. The prologue has to tie in with the starting, the middle, or the end of the story. It can't be a prologue about pink ponies when the rest of the story is about a Sci-fi bounty hunter adventure. It can be a dream (my personal favorite), or a traveler. The main reason for a prologue is to start a story with an exiting boost to get the reader through the rest of the book. And it's good to create suspence to keep the reader reading, and reading, and reading, and before you know it, your glued to the book. Stay tuned for the Building Stones of Chapter One. In the meanwhile, make your prologue a great power-source of your novel.

Creative Writing!

Creative writing is a way to show your inner self. You can write History and show culture in your writing. You can write Fantasy and show imagination. Sci-fi shows futuristical stories.
